Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior-to-mid-level associate to join its Data Strategy, Security & Privacy team in San Francisco, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in privacy law, cybersecurity, and complex commercial litigation.

Duties

• Draft and contribute to dispositive and procedural motions.
• Engage in discovery processes and work with client witnesses.
• Prepare for mediations and arbitrations.
• Collaborate on consumer class actions and government enforcement actions.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of litigation experience.
• Admitted to practice law in California.
• Familiarity with California's federal and state courts.
• Experience with JAMS and AAA arbitration procedures.

Education

• Strong academic record.

Certifications

• California Bar admission.

Skills

• Superior legal research and writing skills.
• Comfortable with large, complex cases and fast-moving matters.
• Knowledge of privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer protection statutes.
