Structured Transactions Midlevel/Senior Associate or Of Counsel

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified midlevel or senior associate or of counsel to join its structured transactions practice group in New York City, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate and/or finance transactions, with a preference for those with a background in structured finance and securitization.

Duties

• Engage in complex structured transactions and securitization projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions.
• Provide legal advice and support on corporate and finance matters.

Requirements

• Experience in RMBS/ABS/CLO/financing is highly preferred.
• Active member of the bar in the state of New York.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in New York.

This large New York law firm opened with a labor and leveraged-leasing practice and quickly built a substantial corporate and litigation practice. Unlike many other national firms with local offices, the New York office has an independent practice base generated by its attorneys.
