Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Remote Litigation Associate based in Austin, TX. This position involves handling litigation, charges, and demand letters related to employment law. The role is available nationwide in any state where the firm maintains an office.

Duties

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges.
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies.
• Handle mediations in employment matters, including class actions and discrimination cases.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 4+ years of experience in California employment litigation for Associate role.
• 9+ years of relevant California experience for Of Counsel role.
• Admitted to the CA state bar and compliance with ethical requirements.
• Understanding of current state and federal agency procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
