Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate with 2-4 years of experience to join its Business Group in Atlanta, Georgia. This position offers the opportunity to engage in a dynamic practice involving mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate transactions.

Duties

• Perform and coordinate due diligence for M&A transactions.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
• Coordinate closings and post-closing matters.
• Engage in joint ventures and commercial contracts.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in M&A transactions.
• Solid knowledge of general corporate law, including entity formation and governance.
• Experience with Am Law 100 firm preferred.
• Admitted to practice in Georgia or eligible for Georgia Bar admission.

Education

• J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited school.

Certifications

• Georgia Bar admission or eligibility.
