Job Title: Intake Attorney (Immigration)

Job Overview:
A Miami-based law firm is seeking a proactive and driven Associate Intake Attorney to join its dynamic immigration practice. This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with a specialized legal team, evaluate potential client matters, and offer strategic legal insight. The position is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values collaboration, and is looking to grow within a reputable legal organization.

Duties:

  • Monitor client management systems to evaluate incoming cases for legal viability

  • Analyze intake documents and identify eligible immigration benefits

  • Recommend legal strategies and possible representation services

  • Communicate directly with potential and existing clients regarding legal processes and options

  • Consult with current clients on services beyond their current legal representation

  • Collaborate with the intake and sales teams to ensure alignment on client service delivery

  • Provide legal supervision to intake paralegals and virtual assistants

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of direct experience practicing immigration law

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and advance matters efficiently

  • Strong interpersonal communication and client service skills

  • Ability to work effectively with a legal team and participate in collaborative strategy development

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferre

  • Familiarity with legal technology, including case management platforms

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • Admission to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in good standing

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of immigration matters, including:

    • Family-Based Petitions

    • Humanitarian Relief

    • EOIR Proceedings

    • Detained Cases

    • Citizenship Applications

    • USCIS Processes

  • Ability to interpret complex legal issues and present solutions clearly

  • Experience in high-volume legal environments with fast turnaround needs
