Duties

  • Guide clients by providing strategic direction on their cases.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings.
  • Draft pleadings, conduct discovery, and handle mediations and settlement conferences.
  • Prepare and attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to efficiently manage cases.
  • Maintain accurate billing and ensure client funds are available before proceeding with cases.

Requirements

  • Active Florida Bar License in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in family law.
  • Trial experience is required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Florida Bar License.

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in legal research and writing.
