Litigation Partner or Senior Counsel

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated Litigation Partner or Senior Counsel to join its expanding offices in Charlotte, NC. The candidate should possess a minimum of ten years of significant civil and/or commercial litigation experience and a reasonable book of portable litigation business. The role involves managing an active litigation caseload and contributing to the growth of the firm's litigation presence in North Carolina.

Duties

• Manage and oversee an active litigation caseload.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, briefs, and motions.
• Conduct discovery and present witnesses for deposition.
• Engage in oral arguments and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Network actively within the community and organizations.

Requirements

• Minimum of ten years of significant commercial litigation experience.
• Experience in construction litigation preferred.
• Current member of the North Carolina bar.
• Litigation experience in North Carolina federal and state courts.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Membership in the North Carolina bar.
