Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Tax Associate in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in tax aspects of complex corporate and partnership transactions, including strategic and private equity M&A transactions, and domestic and international tax planning.

Duties

• Advise on tax matters impacting high-growth businesses and their investors.
• Work on strategic and private equity M&A transactions.
• Engage in domestic and international tax planning and structuring.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience at a peer law firm.
• Exceptional academic credentials.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Membership to the State Bar of the office of the state in which the candidate expects to be located.

Education

• J.D. degree required.

Certifications

• State Bar membership required.

Salaries are in line with other top Bay Area firms, and the firm provides a $10,000 bonus for all lawyers who bill at least 1,950 hours, with additional money based on three separate billable-hour levels above 1,950.
