Structured Transactions Midlevel Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified midlevel associate with 3-5 years of law firm experience to join their structured transactions practice group in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate and/or finance transactions, with a preference for experience in structured finance and securitization.

Duties

• Engage in complex structured finance transactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on securitization projects.
• Provide legal advice on RMBS, ABS, and CLO financing matters.
• Draft and review transaction documents.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant law firm experience.
• Experience in corporate and/or finance transactions.
• Active bar membership in the state of practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in applicable state.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
