Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Project Finance Junior Associate to join its Financial Services Practice in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in project finance, including various financing structures and agreements. Duties

  • Draft credit facilities, depositary accounts agreements, and letters of credit.
  • Prepare and close security documents and legal opinions.
  • Conduct due diligence and prepare bankability analysis on project documents.
  • Collaborate on balance of plant, supply, and offtake agreements.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in project finance on lender or borrower side.
  • Familiarity with LSTA Credit Agreements and New York law-governed documents.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong academic credentials.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law or eligible for licensure in Washington, DC.
