Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Junior Renewable Energy Transactions Associate Attorney to join their Energy, Environmental, Mining, and Transportation Division in St. Louis, MO. The role involves working with a team of attorneys in the Renewable Energy group, engaging in diverse areas such as project development, commercial transactions, and financing.

Duties

• Assist in project development and transactional matters within the renewable energy sector.
• Negotiate, draft, and close commercial agreements.
• Collaborate with team members on complex energy transactions.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in renewable or conventional energy transactions, or related fields.
• Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, financing, real estate, and/or project development.
• Familiarity with tax credit matters, including ITCs or PTCs, is a plus.
• Licensed to practice in or eligible for admission without examination in Missouri.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed attorney in good standing.
