A law firm seeks a Trust and Estates Associate Attorney in Madison, New Jersey. Duties

• Relate to clients effectively.
• Implement matters with minimum supervision.
• Research and prepare memoranda on complicated tax matters.
• Advocate tax positions orally and in writing.
• Develop and implement estate planning techniques.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in New Jersey; admission in New York and/or Florida is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in estate planning and estate administration.
• Experience with gift and estate tax returns, federal and state tax issues, and corporate and partnership tax issues is helpful.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

Education

• JD from a law school; LL.M. in Taxation or candidate for LL.M. in Taxation preferred.
• Master's Degree in Taxation.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
