Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Associate or Of Counsel attorney to join their Capital Markets and Finance Group in New York City. The candidate should have over five years of continuous law firm experience in areas such as structured finance, securitization, public finance, commercial lending, fund finance, or M&A and joint ventures.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex finance and transaction documents.
• Advise clients on financing transactions, managing matters from term sheet to closing.
• Structure and document joint ventures and investment transactions.
• Collaborate with partners to deliver client-focused solutions and develop client relationships.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys.
• Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of continuous law firm experience in two or more relevant practice areas.
• Licensed to practice in New York State.
• Strong commitment to developing as a client-focused lawyer.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York State.
