A law firm seeks a mid-to-senior-level Associate in Houston, TX, to join the Patent Prosecution and Litigation Practice Group on the Electrical Engineering and Software Team.

Duties

  • Draft and prosecute patent applications.

Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Licensed to practice law or eligible for licensing in the state of Texas.
  • Member of the USPTO.
  • Experience with AI/machine learning, software design, semiconductors, and medical devices is a plus.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Education

  • Background in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar field.
