Job Overview
A law firm seeks a highly qualified Restructuring Counsel to join its practice in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court workouts.

Duties

• Represent secured lenders and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.
• Handle DIP financing and cash collateral use.
• Develop plans of reorganization and manage asset dispositions.
• Conduct out-of-court workouts and restructurings.
• Oversee foreclosures and liability management transactions.
• Manage assignments for the benefit of creditors.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of law firm experience in relevant areas.
• Strong communication, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent academic credentials.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
