Duties

• Represent business debtors, creditors, landlords, and supply chain parties in bankruptcy matters.
• Engage in corporate workouts and restructurings.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Participate in business development activities.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of bankruptcy-specific experience.
• Familiarity with the bankruptcy code and uniform commercial code.
• Experience with commercial transactions.
• Strong advocacy, research, and writing skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized with a solid work ethic.
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois or eligible for admission without examination.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
