Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Remote Litigation Associate specializing in employment law, available in any state where the firm maintains an office. This role involves defending and litigating a variety of employment-related claims and agency charges.

Duties

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges.
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies.
• Handle mediations in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination cases.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 4+ years of experience in California employment litigation for Associate role.
• 9+ years of relevant California experience for Of Counsel role, with first chair capacity.
• Admission to the CA state bar and compliance with ethical requirements.
• Understanding of current state and federal agency procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar.
