Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced Family Law Attorney in Denver, CO. This role offers an opportunity to engage in challenging cases while providing compassionate legal support to individuals navigating complex family matters.

  • Duties:
  • Handle a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, parental responsibilities, child support, spousal support, and asset division.
  • Represent clients in trials, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations with professionalism and expertise.
  • Manage all aspects of casework from intake through resolution, ensuring timely and accurate completion of filings and documentation.
  • Provide sound legal advice and guidance tailored to the needs of each client, while maintaining empathy and discretion.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to optimize case strategies and ensure effective service delivery.
  • Stay current with local, state, and federal family law regulations and precedents.
  • Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Colorado and in good standing with the Colorado Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing family law or 3 years of other practice area experience with an interest in family law, with demonstrated competency in courtroom litigation and settlement negotiations.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to build rapport with clients and work well in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload while ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
  • Education:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Certifications:
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Colorado.
  • Skills:
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
