Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney with two to three years of civil litigation experience to join its New York, NY office. The ideal candidate will have expertise in New York no-fault law and insurance laws, with experience in civil court, arbitrations, and Examinations Under Oath (EUOs). Experience with declaratory judgment actions and litigating in the Supreme Court of the State of New York is advantageous. Trial experience is preferred.

Duties

  • Defend No-Fault matters in civil litigation.
  • Handle arbitrations and Examinations Under Oath (EUOs).
  • Engage in declaratory judgment actions.
  • Litigate in the Supreme Court of the State of New York.
  • Submit writing samples demonstrating strong writing and analytical skills.

Requirements

  • Admitted to practice in both NY and NJ.
  • 2-3 years of civil litigation experience, specifically in third-party auto matters.

Education

  • JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.

Skills

  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in New York no-fault law and insurance laws.
