Job Overview

A law firm seeks a midlevel associate for its Palo Alto, CA office with 3-5 years of experience in life sciences transactions. The ideal candidate will have a background in drafting and negotiating various agreements, including collaboration, license, supply, and operational agreements.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate collaboration agreements and license agreements.
  • Handle supply and operational agreements, including CDA/NDAs, MTAs, SRAs, CTAs, and MSAs.
  • Manage product purchase and sale agreements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of law firm experience in life sciences transactions.
  • Alternatively, 2+ years as in-house counsel in the life sciences industry.
  • Strong desire to focus on life sciences transactions.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in the state of California.

Skills

  • Proficient in drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
