Duties

• Manage and oversee a broad spectrum of cases, including art law, fraud, commercial litigation, copyright and trademark disputes, employment law, and insurance defense.
• Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other tools to support case strategies.
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Handle discovery, including depositions, oral arguments, and hearings.
• Maintain detailed case records and ensure compliance with court deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Stay current on relevant laws and regulations across multiple practice areas.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 2 years of law firm associate work experience.
• Admission to New York, Florida, California, Illinois, or Texas state bar.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
