Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified Government Contracts Associate Attorney to join its practice group in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in government contracts law, with a focus on bid protests and regulatory counseling.

Duties

  • Represent clients in proceedings before the GAO and U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on federal procurement laws and regulations.
  • Draft protest filings, motions, briefs, and client memoranda.
  • Collaborate with partners and colleagues on sophisticated legal matters.
  • Contribute strategically to case development and client service.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in government contracts law.
  • Experience with bid protests before the GAO and/or U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
  • Strong litigation experience is a plus.
  • Excellent academic and professional credentials.
  • Highly developed analytical, communication, and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Member of the D.C. Bar or eligible to waive in.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Member of the D.C. Bar or eligible to waive in.
