Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Government, Defense, and National Security Attorney to join their Washington, D.C. office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government contracts and related legal areas.

Duties

  • Provide legal counsel on government contracts and procurement issues.
  • Conduct internal investigations and handle bid protests.
  • Advise on compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
  • Collaborate with a team on white collar defense and investigations.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of post-JD experience in Government Contracts law.
  • Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing or eligible to waive into the DC bar.
  • Excellent writing and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor

Certifications

  • Licensed attorney in good standing

Skills

  • Expertise in the Contract Disputes Act and Federal procurement issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
