Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Mass Tort and Product Liability practice in Pittsburgh, PA. This position offers the opportunity to engage in high-profile, complex litigation matters within a collaborative, multi-office team environment.

Duties

• Manage fact and expert discovery, including taking depositions.
• Draft and argue substantive motions.
• Develop and execute causation defenses, working effectively with expert witnesses.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in mass tort and product liability litigation.
• Experience defending asbestos claims preferred.
• Experience with complex commercial disputes, multidistrict litigation, and/or class actions in state and federal courts is strongly preferred.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the applicable jurisdiction.
