Attorneys in the New York office have one of the premier theatre practices in the country, representing producers, playwrights, directors and designers, as well as theatre owners, motion picture studios, licensing organizations, theatrical agents, not-for-profit theatres, and investors, with respect to Broadway, Off-Broadway, Las Vegas, regional, touring and foreign productions. These practitioners provide all of the legal services required with respect to theatrical productions, including securities financing, copyright, counseling and in-depth knowledge of the financial structures in the live stage industry. Associates are groomed from the beginning to accept responsibility for client service and are given the opportunity early on to deal directly with clients and outside counsel. Teamwork among the different practice groups and among the attorneys has been crucial to their continued success, for they have continued to provide an excellent working environment that encourages close cooperation and camaraderie.
