Job Overview

A law firm seeks an International Practice Associate in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, results-driven team player with a minimum of six years of U.S. law experience, dedicated to providing top-quality legal representation and exceptional client service.

Duties

• Provide business-minded general legal counsel and representation to clients.
• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of legal documents.
• Assist with corporate governance matters.
• Draft memoranda on various aspects of U.S. law.
• Support the Litigation Group with dispute resolution and debt collection.
• Interface with tax advisors, auditors, and foreign lawyers.
• Delegate work to and review the work of junior attorneys.

Requirements

• Fluency in Italian, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent drafting, research, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to client service.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Admitted to practice in the State of New York.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to the New York State Bar.
