Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate Attorney (Mid- to Senior-Level) in New York, New York, or Boston, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings, and will be eager to take on increased responsibilities.

Duties

  • Handle acquisitions and dispositions of real estate assets.
  • Manage construction and permanent financings for lenders and borrowers.
  • Participate in joint ventures and portfolio transactions.
  • Advise on REITs and real estate funds.
  • Engage in equity joint venture investments and entity formation.
  • Work with various asset types, including residential, industrial, and commercial properties.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of law firm experience in relevant areas.
  • Admitted to the New York state bar or eligible to waive in.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage complex transactions independently.

Education

  • Strong academic credentials.
