Duties

• Gather and analyze medical evidence and records.
• Depose plaintiffs, physicians, experts, and other parties.
• Conduct discovery and perform legal research.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients at hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Investigate and analyze accidents and potential claims.
• Compile and submit required reports.
• Coordinate and attend claims reviews.
• Negotiate settlements for clients and insurers.
• Make court appearances as needed.

Requirements

• J.D. and admission to the Missouri and Illinois bar.
• 3-7 years of experience in defending general liability or civil cases.
• In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal laws.
• Proficiency in legal research techniques and terminology.
• Maintain firm and client confidentiality.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the Missouri and Illinois bar.
