Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced litigation partner to join their team in St. Louis, MO. This role offers a fully remote work arrangement and focuses on expanding the firm's presence in Missouri and Kansas. The successful candidate will serve public and private clients in the region.

Duties

  • Provide legal counsel and representation in various litigation matters.
  • Develop and maintain a portable book of business.
  • Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to serve clients effectively.
  • Engage in strategic planning to expand the firm's regional footprint.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant legal experience.
  • Strong written advocacy and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience in Employment & Labor, Insurance Coverage, Toxic Tort and Environmental Law, Business & Commercial Litigation, Product Liability, Management and Professional Liability, or General Liability.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Missouri State Bar membership.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven track record of successful client representation.
