Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Associate to join its Health Care Practice Group in Denver, CO. This full-time position involves working on sophisticated transactional matters for private equity and financial sponsor clients. The role offers exposure to clients across various industries, with a focus on health care and regulated sectors.

Duties

  • Structure, negotiate, and execute complex transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate transaction documents for M&A transactions.
  • Prepare and negotiate governing documents, including bylaws and operating agreements.
  • Manage key aspects of transactions with increasing independence.
  • Coordinate due diligence and supervise junior attorneys.
  • Work directly with clients and collaborate within deal teams.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience with private equity funds and M&A transactions.
  • Strong academic background and superior drafting skills.
  • Admitted to the Colorado Bar.
  • Willingness to participate in community and professional organizations.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Colorado Bar.
