Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Litigation Attorney in Newport Beach, California. This role offers the opportunity to manage a variety of litigation matters, including wrongful death, catastrophic injury, construction, breach of contract, and tort claims. Duties

• Manage litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Develop legal strategies and conduct research.
• Draft pleadings and motions.
• Manage discovery processes.
• Argue motions in court and attend mediations.
• Participate in trials.

Requirements

• Current admission to the California State Bar.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience, including defending tort claims.
• Experience in preparing pleadings and drafting motions.
• Proficiency in arguing motions and attending mediations preferred.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaboratively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar.
