A law firm seeks a Generalist Education Attorney for its Fresno, CA office. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience supporting public school districts in various education law matters. Duties

• Provide legal counsel to K-12 public school districts on governance, student issues, contracts, and compliance.
• Advise on student rights, discipline, Title IX, special education, and public records issues.
• Represent clients in administrative hearings and proceedings, including those before the Office for Civil Rights.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Passion for advocating for educational institutions and public agencies.
