Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of experience in commercial litigation or insurance defense to join their Orlando, FL office. The role involves supporting litigation matters through pleadings, discovery, mediation, and trial, covering areas such as contracts, torts, construction, trusts and estates, employment, real estate, businesses, intellectual property, and non-competes. Duties

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and provide insightful analysis of relevant laws and precedents.
  • Manage commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings and motions.
  • Collaborate with clients, providing legal counsel and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Represent clients in court during hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.

Education
