Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Hospitality and Leisure Associate to join their team in New York. The successful candidate will become a key member of a nationally recognized practice, working alongside industry-leading partners and associates in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Duties

  • Work on matters across the globe.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate various agreements, including letters of intent, purchase and sale agreements, hotel management, license and franchise agreements, and joint venture agreements.
  • Advise on financings, including negotiation of loan documents and related deliverables.
  • Manage deal closings from start to finish.
  • Conduct due diligence and handle all aspects of transactional work.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of legal experience in real estate/transactional work (hospitality industry experience is a plus).
  • Previous law firm experience (large and sophisticated deal experience preferred).
  • Must be licensed to practice law and be in good standing in the state where the hired candidate will be practicing.

Education

  • Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant state.
