A law firm seeks a dedicated Tax Associate Attorney in Irvine, CA, with a minimum of five years of transactional tax experience. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in community development transactions involving new markets tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, and renewable energy investment tax credits.

Duties

• Advise clients on tax credit transactions and impact finance matters.
• Draft and review legal documents related to tax credit transactions.
• Collaborate with a team to develop innovative tax solutions.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.

Requirements

• Five or more years of transactional tax experience.
• Experience with NMTCs, HTCs, and RETCs preferred.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction.
