Trademark Associate - Mid-Level

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Trademark Associate to join its team in Raleigh, NC. This role offers an opportunity for an attorney with at least three years of experience to engage in a variety of brand protection matters within a dynamic practice.

Duties

• Conduct trademark clearance searches and analyze results for trademark availability.
• Handle domestic and international prosecution of trademark applications.
• Manage a large docket of trademark prosecution matters, ensuring timely responses.
• Assist with trademark enforcement, including cease and desist letters and domain name disputes.
• Support attorneys on trademark and copyright litigation matters.
• Stay informed on current trademark law and practice.
• Contribute to the growth of the firm's Brand Protection team.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• At least three years of U.S. and international trademark prosecution and enforcement experience.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid authorization to work in the U.S.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

• Bar membership in good standing.
