Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Associate to join its Real Estate Finance Practice Area in Washington, D.C. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive real estate services to a diverse client base, including community-based businesses and Fortune 100 companies.

Duties

  • Represent lending institutions in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Advise clients on affordable and mixed-income housing matters.
  • Engage in agency financing transactions involving Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of commercial real estate finance experience in a sophisticated law firm setting.

  • NC Bar membership required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
