Job Title: Partner-Level Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected law firm based in Orlando, FL, is seeking to engage a seasoned legal practitioner at the partner level with substantial experience in land use and zoning. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys who have built a solid practice and are now looking to contribute to a collaborative, strategically expanding team within a well-regarded regional firm. The role offers a platform for practice growth and active participation in high-impact real estate, development, and municipal matters.

Duties:

  • Handle complex matters related to land use entitlements, zoning approvals, development agreements, and permitting

  • Represent private and public sector clients before municipal and county boards, commissions, and administrative bodies

  • Provide strategic legal guidance on state and local regulations affecting property development

  • Lead or contribute to public hearings, planning sessions, and community negotiations

  • Collaborate with real estate, litigation, and environmental teams on multidisciplinary legal issues

  • Participate in client relationship development and firmwide business growth initiatives

Requirements:

  • Extensive background in land use, zoning, planning, or real estate development law

  • Established portable client base or demonstrated ability to generate client work

  • Admitted to practice in Florida or willing to obtain Florida Bar membership

  • Strong interpersonal, public speaking, and negotiation skills

  • Proven leadership capabilities in a law firm or agency setting

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Florida Bar (preferred) or eligibility for reciprocity/admission

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of Florida municipal, land development, and zoning codes

  • Ability to manage complex regulatory frameworks and project timelines

  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, including public officials and private clients

  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus
