Duties

  • Advise nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations on maintaining tax-exempt status and compliance.
  • Provide counsel on nonprofit governance, including formation and executive compensation.

  • Advise on philanthropy for high net worth individuals and businesses.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in tax-exempt organizations or nonprofit law.
  • Admitted to and a member in good standing of the bar in the jurisdiction of the office.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
