This role involves handling complex litigation and arbitration cases, primarily in construction, infrastructure, and energy sectors. The ideal candidate will bring substantial commercial litigation experience and demonstrate leadership in managing fast-paced, high-stakes cases.

Location:

  • Houston, TX

Duties:

  • Lead litigation and arbitration teams for high-stakes construction and engineering disputes
  • Represent clients in complex commercial litigation, focusing on construction, infrastructure, and energy matters
  • Develop and execute effective case strategies to meet client goals
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and manage case documentation
  • Deliver outstanding oral and written advocacy in court and arbitration proceedings
  • Coordinate and maintain clear communication with clients and legal teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of commercial litigation experience, preferably with exposure to international arbitration
  • Expertise in construction, infrastructure, or energy disputes
  • Proven leadership experience in directing litigation strategy and managing legal teams
  • Active local bar admission in the state of the selected office
  • Foreign language proficiency is a plus

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
