Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney in Atlanta, GA. This role is ideal for a dedicated advocate who excels in a dynamic environment and is committed to providing exceptional legal representation for personal injury clients. The attorney will manage a full litigation caseload with the support of a dedicated team.

Duties

• Manage personal injury files from initiation through trial.
• Conduct litigation tasks including filing lawsuits, discovery, depositions, and trials.
• Interact regularly with clients, adjusters, staff, and other attorneys.
• Lead a litigation team of five or more members.
• Handle cases involving commercial motor vehicles.
• Expand knowledge in trucking litigation and pursue board certification in truck accident law.
• Work independently while maintaining accountability.

Requirements

• Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school.
• Current member in good standing of the Illinois Bar.
• Minimum of three years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Experience in commercial cases is a plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Member of the Illinois Bar.
