Mid-Level Associate - Litigation (Product Liability)

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate with strong legal writing skills in the area of pharmaceutical/medical device Daubert/Rule 702 motions practice to join its Litigation group in Atlanta, GA. This position is open to any of the firm's U.S. offices.

Duties

• Communicate with clients
• Supervise associates
• Work with experts
• Assist with fact development and depositions
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda
• Help develop case strategy

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm
• Extensive experience writing briefs, including Rule 702 and Daubert issues
• Experience with products liability litigation
• Experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is a plus

Education

• JD from a nationally recognized school

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application
• New York bar admission encouraged
