Project Finance Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Project Finance Associate in New York. The ideal candidate will possess 3-6 years of substantial experience in transactional work, specifically in debt project finance and/or tax equity.

Duties

• Prepare, review, and negotiate financing documents such as credit agreements and collateral documents.
• Draft and negotiate tax equity transaction documents, including equity capital contribution agreements.
• Conduct due diligence on key project agreements, including joint venture and EPC agreements.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of significant transactional experience in debt project finance and/or tax equity.
• Proficiency in preparing and negotiating complex financial documents.
• Experience in conducting thorough due diligence on project agreements.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
