Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Fund Formation and Investment Management Associate with 4-6 years of relevant experience to join their practice in Boston, MA. Duties

• Structure and negotiate fund and management agreements.
• Engage in secondary sales of LP fund stakes on both buy- and sell-side.
• Conduct GP-led fund restructurings.
• Collaborate with partners, senior counsel, and clients on sophisticated matters.

Requirements

• Solid experience in fund formation and investment management.
• Working knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act and Securities Act.
• Strong drafting skills and ability to manage complex projects.
• Proactive mindset and strong interpersonal skills.

Education

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing of the Bar in the jurisdiction(s) where admitted.
