Insurance Recovery Practice Attorney - Senior

Job Overview:
A senior-level Insurance Recovery Practice Attorney position based in Palo Alto, California. Duties:

• Advise and represent policyholders in insurance coverage and recovery matters
• Secure defense and indemnity coverage for third-party liability claims
• Communicate and negotiate directly with insurance adjusters and defense counsel
• Analyze insurance policies and coverage issues across a variety of commercial insurance products
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize insurance recovery for clients
• Manage complex insurance disputes and related litigation matters
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients on high-stakes coverage matters

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of insurance coverage experience
• Experience handling policyholder-side insurance recovery matters preferred
• Prior experience at a large law firm or specialized insurance coverage practice preferred
• Ability to manage complex matters independently and work directly with clients and insurers
• Interest in a flexible work arrangement and non-partnership track role

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction
