Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Insurance Coverage Attorney in Philadelphia. This role offers the chance to engage in complex insurance coverage litigation, with a flexible hybrid schedule combining remote and in-office work.

Duties

  • Handle litigation matters from opening to closure.
  • Defend and take depositions of experts, fact witnesses, and parties.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and participate in trial preparation.
  • Work on first-party property and insurance coverage cases.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of defense experience in insurance coverage cases.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars; New York Bar license is a plus.

Education

  • Excellent academic credentials required.

Certifications

  • Must be licensed with relevant state bars.

Skills

  • Experience with drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Familiarity with billing practices and reporting guidelines.
