Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Government Contracts Senior Associate in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic practice focusing on government contracts and national security, providing transactional support and regulatory counseling.

Duties

  • Provide transactional support in M&A and structured investments.
  • Conduct DCSA facility security clearances and FOCI analyses.
  • Offer regulatory counseling on small business set-aside programs and SBIR/STTR awards.
  • Advise on rights in technical data, software, and subject inventions.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity/CMMC standards.
  • Negotiate prime contracts, subcontracts, and teaming agreements.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of government contracts practice experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple short-deadline assignments.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.

Education

  • Juris Doctor from a nationally recognized law school.

  • Relevant legal certifications preferred.
