Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior to mid-level health care litigation associate to join its federal litigation practice in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will have two to four years of federal litigation or appellate experience, with strong writing skills and the ability to work independently.

Duties

• Draft motions and briefs for litigation matters.
• Handle federal litigation and appellate cases.
• Engage in health care reimbursement litigation and compliance.
• Participate in government investigations and False Claims Act work.
• Navigate complex legal subject matter effectively.

Requirements

• Two to four years of federal litigation or appellate experience.
• Experience in Administrative Procedure Act litigation preferred.
• Experience with government and private payor disputes is a plus.
• Federal clerkship experience preferred.
• Active South Carolina bar admission or UBE transferable score required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
