Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Attorney to join their Timeshare Practice in Orlando, FL. The successful candidate will represent clients in timeshare-related matters, managing both judicial and non-judicial foreclosures, drafting and arguing motions, and negotiating resolutions. This role involves close collaboration with clients and internal teams to navigate title and compliance challenges, ensuring efficient case progression while maintaining high standards of professionalism.

Duties

  • Manage and litigate a caseload of timeshare foreclosure actions.
  • Draft and argue motions for routine and contested foreclosure matters.
  • Appear in court to represent clients and make oral arguments.
  • Collaborate with clients on timeshare title portfolios and challenges.
  • Negotiate resolutions and facilitate settlements with opposing parties.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal timeshare laws.
  • Provide training and guidance to paralegals and legal assistants.
  • Deliver excellent client service and legal counsel on compliance issues.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate.
  • Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
  • License in South Carolina or North Carolina, or willingness to obtain.
  • Two or more years' experience in timeshare or real estate industries.
  • Experience managing a volume portfolio of cases.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed, generally less than 10% of the time.
  • Must work in the Orlando office two days per week or more as needed.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate

Certifications

  • Active Florida Bar license
