Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Partner Attorney to join their team in Newark, NJ. The firm represents major national and regional companies and insurance carriers in various aspects of business counseling, risk assessment, and dispute resolution.

Duties

  • Represent clients in insurance defense, business and commercial litigation, product liability, management and professional liability, and general liability cases.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and advocacy in complex litigation matters.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop case strategies.
  • Maintain and grow client relationships.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant litigation experience.
  • Strong written advocacy and strategic thinking skills.
  • A portable book of business is preferred but not required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in New Jersey.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
